From Donna -- We chose Holland America for our cruise because my sister had sailed on the Noordam out of San Francisco several years ago, and I was impressed by how elegant the ship looked. It was much classier than some of the lines that cater to the weekend cruiser or to a strictly American market.

From Diane -- My next-door neighbor cruised on Holland America this past May and told me it was a wonderful experience (her first cruise). She said the food was delicious and the service impeccable. I have other friends who cruised to Alaska in the past year on the ms Oosterdam and reported that the cruise was superb. Holland America Lines comes highly recommended.
